What is the Goal of Wedding Videography?

The goal of wedding videography is to create for the couple a living remembrance of their special day. Wedding videography can capture the frolic and fun of the day.  It can also capture the emotions and loving words that are spoken.

Another thing that happens is that the beautiful surroundings get into photographs, but you don’t see the wind or feel the rain, but the wind or rain can almost be felt again with wedding videography.

Some people are a little nervous about having any wedding videography done because they aren’t sure of how their guests will feel and what might actually be captured on film. They don’t want to be any more nervous or have to worry about an obnoxious cameraman.  If the cinematographer has been doing wedding videography for very long at all he will know enough to get to know the couple and what their personalities are like. He will know who to watch for and who to watch out for.  He will also know what special little behind the scene things might be going on that will be important to the couple and that they will appreciate having in their wedding videography.

An important aspect of wedding videography is when the cameraman in not intrusive, but catches the private moments that the couple will want to remember.   If the wedding videography is truly successful it will capture all of the moments that are special and be a living memorial of that very special occasion. As the years go by that wedding videography will increase in importance as memories change and life happens.

Another thing that the wedding videographer will want to keep in mind is who, other than the couple, this wedding videography might be being made for.  Is there a brother in the military that cannot attend the ceremony?  Or maybe there is an ailing grandparent.  Care should be taken to help them feel included in the day, something that the bride and groom might not think of, but would really appreciate when they look back at it.
