Wedding Video Tips: Audio

Wedding Video Tips: Audio

synopsis by: Gabriel A.

Videomaker presents some quick tips on how to capture high quality audio inside effectively for a wedding videography. As we all know, and as almost in all jolly occasions we will hear a lot of noises around. The wind humming, the leaves of trees as they sway into the music the wind is playing, voices of children that are either crying or laughing their guts out. And that example is on a private setting. More noises you will hear when the wedding is inside the city. These noises, on a wedding event, grand or not, they are acceptable because they add up to the hype of the event itself. And we have been living with noises all our lives that we can hardly even notice.

But not when it is being watched on the video. All those noises that we think are acceptable and adding to the hype of the event, that music sung by the wind and danced by the trees, car horns, people all around chatting and children playing, inside a video, they are unwanted noises. When we are trying to make a video, specifically an emotional one such as a wedding video, our goal is to capture, not only the event itself but also the emotion. We want our video to be carried away with their emotions. We want our video to be compelling, and heart-felt. So our intention of moving the people who gets to view, even if they haven’t attended the wedding event, if they are touched, then the videography is a success.

To achieve this intention, our main goal, we first need a high-definition camera, and some lights depending on the venue, and other peripherals and gadgets that we might possibly need. That is to ensure the quality of the video and image capturing. These are enough to make a great wedding videography production, if on post processing of the video, you are going to place a song to play along with the sequences. But what if the couple requested for interviews from their guests, or they want to watch and hear themselves say their vows? So you need to figure out how to get a high quality audio coverage as well. If you do not know how to do that, well here are great tips for you to use.
