One thing about Indian weddings is that they tend to stick unto their traditions religiously, making it as the core of the event. The traditional Indian wedding, as what you can see in the video, is about two families brought together, bringing them close to each other. In the video, the groom was first blessed by the officiators and the family members, and then covered with white veil that brings the spirit of purity to the wife entering the room. It is then the bride whom is blessed and purified for the groom. After each fulfillment of the purification and the giving of blessings to each one of them, the couple now could be blessed as one. The couple now needs to state their vows to each other.
Amazingly, the video really caught how diverse an Indian wedding could be. As you can see, not all the visitors are Indians. Some were Americans and really getting into how the wedding should be done. All is well. Such very colorful and joyful wedding to look at, and it just brings so much joy to the one watching the video. A very nice wedding that makes you want to have an Indian wedding too.
